Everlooking Eagle

Grand Prismatic

Sitting in front of the Soldiers Memorial Military Museum is this proud stone eagle. His stare towards the entrance is unending. This museum, opening on Memorial Day in 1938, was built to honor the men and women of the city of St. Louis and the state of Missouri who "made the supreme sacrafice in the World War". Inside the museum is a nice collection of donated artifacts that tell the story of World War I both at home and abroad.
