Southern Tetons

Grand Prismatic

Looking northward over a field of scrub brush, the Grand Teton mountain range stands high over the trees. This beautiful land has been home to people for more than 11,000 years with abundant wildlife and water. In the early 1800s it was frequented by fur trappers and it is widely believed that one of these fur trappers gave the highest peak "Grand Teton" its name.
