With this unusually late snow storm, came Kansas City's coldest temperatures on record for the month of May. In 2013 the snow fell and covered the city including the world-famous Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and its Shuttlecocks. This was no weather for a game of badminton. It was a gray, dreary day and the only dominant color was the orange on the Shuttlecocks. With a little selective coloring I accentuated these even more by eliminating the rest of the color. The temperature almost drops just from looking at this photo.
