Aspen Grove

One day while driving around in Colorado, we were feeling a bit adventurous. We decided to go down the next backroad we came across just to see what beauty was hidden from the major thoroughfare. As we meandered down the winding path we encountered some switchbacks, a stream with a beautiful waterfall, and vibrant wildlife. Near the end of our side trip we entered an Aspen Grove. These beautiful trees went on for miles and transformed the landscape to a much different place than we had seen before. The straight, high-contrast trees reached high into the sky and the underbrush below was very thin and low to the ground.
