Sometimes some of the most beautiful things in nature are so simple. Idaho Springs, Colorado, a former mining community has a beautiful stream that runs through it. Once the water would have been clouded by mud and chemicals from the miners trying to force riches from the mountain side. Today the water runs clear, the chemicals have been washed away and nature has reclaimed its rightful place. The crystal clear water rolls over the stones just beneath the surface churning up the water and putting on a little show before continuing on down the river.
