Desolation

High atop a mountain sits this dark and sullen tree. With the dark and brewing clouds in the back it is poised to face the storm with no protection. Stripped of all of its color, it’s raw form exudes the cold and lifeless emotions. This is one of the countless trees well off of the beaten path in the Rocky Mountain National Park.
