Evening Tide

The largest freshwater high-altitude lake in North America is Yellowstone Lake in Yellowstone National Park. Covering 136 square miles it is an impressive sight. At the end of an especially windy day the waves crash onto the beach washing up a massive tree trunk whose time was done long ago. The final light of day catches the white caps and foam as they are thrown into the air.
