Nature does some its most beautiful and intricate carvings the world has ever seen. Cutting deep into the countryside this river has eaten away at the earth for centuries. High atop the hill sits at what first glance resembles the Holy City of Jerusalem. Upon closer look, it is an outcrop of rocks born of fire and ice. These silhouettes shaping the skyline were created amid a time of turmoil and chaos. The area's volcanoes created the elaborate shapes by creating a thick mixture of rock and ash. As it cooled, water runoff carved deep into these formations and as the millennia passed on, rivers, wind, and ice chipped away and created what we see today.
