Scenic Drive

Scenic Drives often mean roads that don't necessarily go in a straight line; roads that move with the land. The Chief Joseph Scenic Highway takes it a bit to the extreme. We thought we would take this route on the way back to our place after a full day in Yellowstone. Wow was it scenic. Viewed from the Dead Indian Summit, we could see the road we just drove meandering back and forth slowly working its way up the mountain side. It looked almost like a cartoon drawing. It is easy to see why this scenic highway may not be the fastest way to go, but it was very rewarding.
