Deep in the backwoods of Yellowstone National Park lies Fairy Falls. Hidden a couple of miles behind the world's second largest hot spring, down a lightly travelled path, is this wonder of the park that you almost have to be at before you can see it. Starting its decent it is a small unassuming trickle. As it nears the end of its vertical drop, however, the water bounces from rock to rock and spreads across the base to nearly 20 feet wide. It is a very serene untouched piece of nature available to only those who choose to explore.
