High atop the Cass County, Missouri courthouse is the old clock. The courthouse was erected with bricks made from Harrisionville's newly discovered brick clay vain in 1897. It was not in 1909, however, when the clock was installed thanks to a group of women known as the Harrisonville Town Clock Club. It gave the city the time of day until around 2004 when it fell into disrepair. Restoration is currently underway to bring the old clock back to life.
